It is said that Apple’s iPhone 8 is coming this fall. It is so hot that almost everyone wants to change to iPhone 8 even when it is not released yet! However, manual contacts transfer may be a big problem when we change phones especially when we have numerous names and numbers to type. Is there any other way to make the transfer easier? Today, I will set Samsung and iPhone as an example and offer you 2 methods on how to transfer contacts from Samsung to iPhone 8.
Method 1: Move Samsung Contacts to iPhone 8 with Third Party Tool
Using a third party tool to move contacts from one phone to another may be the easiest way. As far as I know, Jihosoft Phone Transfer is a good choice. It can help transfer contacts, messages, call logs, photos, videos, musics and more between Android and iOS devices. What’s more, it is a easy-to-use and user-friendly software, we don’t need to think too much about its safety. Let’s see how to use it to sync Samsung contacts to iPhone 8:
Step 1: Download and run this software on our computer, we will see the consequent interface as follow:

Step 2: Click “Phone to Phone” option, connect both Samsung and iPhone 8 to computer;
Step 3: When the two phones are connected well, check “Contacts” and click “Start Copy” to switch Samsung contacts to iPhone 8. (If the transfer direction is opposite, that is, from iPhone to Samsung, then click “Flip” to change the direction and continue to transfer)

Method 2: Transfer Contacts from Samsung to iPhone 8 with “Move to iOS” App
“Move to iOS” is an App which can help us transfer camera roll, messages, Google account, contacts and bookmarks from Samsung to iPhone 8. But be sure that the Samsung must reach V4.0. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Download “Move to iOS” app on Samsung;
Step 2: Make sure Samsung and iPhone have connected the same Wi-Fi network;
Step 3: Enter settings > App & Data > Move Data from Android on new iPhone 8 to set it up. If the iPhone 8 has set up already, erase it and start over.
Step 4: Launch this app on Samsung, tap “Continue” “Agree” and then tap “Next” in the top-right corner of the “Find Your Code” screen;

Step 5: On iPhone 8, tap “Continue” on the screen called “Move from Android” and wait for a code to appear;
Step 6: Once seeing the code on iPhone 8, input the code and select “Contacts” to transfer and then tap “Next” on Samsung.

Step 7: After finishes the transfer, continue to set up iPhone 8 according to the prompts.
